ROOTS – The genealogy portal for all who are looking for their Swedish roots. Here you also find the discussion board Anbytarforum, where you can post queries about your Swedish ancestors.

DDSS – Demographical Database for Southern Sweden
The Databases contains Birth and baptism records, Marriage records and Death and burial records from some of the parishes in Skåne and Blekinge up til about 1894.

DISBYT
DISBYT is the database which gives you the opportunity to search for your ancestors. The database is made by members of DIS (a non–profit genealogy organization), who have submitted contributions from their genealogy programs. Each post contains information about name, parish and year of events like born, married or death.

Search for persons who went to the United States between 1892 and 1924. You need to register, but it is free of charge. You can save your searches, to easily find them later (recommended!). If you choose”View original Ship Manifest”, you will see the original notes about the passengers. You can also get information about the ship they travelled with.
