Edvard Persson's tombstone
Jonstorp cemetary
Edvard Persson was born 1888 and died 1957. When he died, he and his wife Mim, lived in Rekekroken just outside. Mim Persson was born 1902 and died 1982.
On the tombstone you see a relief of Edvard Persson,
and this is what it says on the tombstone
There are also two reliefs on both sides of the tombstone. Unfortunately these reliefs are not very visible, and therefore it is difficult to see on the photos what they look like.
To the left there is a Scanian landscape, with a windmill, a couple of willow trees and a Scanian farm
and to the right there is a Scanian couple (probably Edvard and Mim) with a dog, and a number of geese flying in wedge–shaped formation over their heads.
