The Kullabygden Genealogical Society... is a non-profit association, which was founded on February 26, 1987 by some genealogy enthusiasts. aims to promote genealogy research in Kullabygden, by creating contact between active genealogists and also to make novices interested in genealogy. has an archive with family tables with information about approximately 250 000 persons, mainly from Kullabygden. We also have books, documents, old newpaper cuttings, and other genealogy material, as well as microfilms over the local church records. publishes a members' magazine twice per year. arranges various meetings, as research evenings and –days, lectures, excursions and village walkings etc. gathers and takes care of researcher's material, to share with others, if the giver wants us to.
